Gather Inspiration

Welcome to my 31 Days to Create Purpose in your home!  During the month of October, I am posting every day about creating purpose in your home and joining all of these bloggers who are also posting for 31 days on a topic of their choice.  I would love for you to follow me, and check out all of the other posts in the series and the introduction to it here.

In trying to decide what you physically want your home to look like, gather inspiration from others (professionals) to see what you like, what you don't like.  Remember we are dreaming big here!  We want to figure out the overall look/feel we want (even if the designer price is out of our range).  It is good to dream big and know what you would want to do if you had an unlimited budget.  This also includes ways to manage, organize and clean your home, not just the design and decor stuff!

Here are a few of my favorite places to gather inspiration, in no particular order.

Not only does she have fantastic organizing ideas and tips, everything looks so PRETTY.  Take a tour of her home, see the before's and afters on her blog and feel inspired that you really can do it!!!  She also has great things to help run your home such as a Home Management Binder.

Did you know that as well as gorgeous rooms and ideas, they have design tips, and how to's?  While they are a bit out of my price range, it is a great source of inspiration and ideas.

Not only can you find GREAT inspiration for any and everything here, you can also categorize it and organize all your great inspiration in one place!

There are SOO many more amazing resources to help you dream big.  Tomorrow, more about figuring out what your end goal is.

Cheers!

Ashley

  1. Pintrest is my favorite! I use it for recipe gathering mostly. I can't get enough of finding some new project or recipe that will stretch my creativity as a home-liver (since I am not making homes just yet).
